Consultation

The Committee released an issues paper on 7 June 2018 to gain a better understanding of how regional Australians use telecommunications services and invited submissions from individuals, businesses, peak bodies and other interested organisations.

The Committee held 22 public face-to-face consultations across regional Australia, from Devonport in Tasmania to Kununurra in Western Australia. The Committee also met with members of the public and key groups representing regional Australians.

The Committee appreciates the time and effort of everyone who attended meetings or made submissions to the review.
